Stunning and marvellous location convenient to travel around the beautiful area in a nice quiet area. Good choice of food options at walking distance from the venue. Nice pool, parking outside. The room was outstanding and spacious. The location couldn't be more beautiful and convenient. Easily reached Klemm's Smoke Haus located at a medium distance from the hotel. We were able to easily reach Klemm's Smoke Haus, which is located a moderate distance from the hotel, for lunch or dinner.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location of this hotel is superb, right in front of a small marina. I was mesmerized by the beautiful view of the river from my spacious and clean room. The staff here goes above and beyond to provide top-notch service, including room service, dry cleaning, and housekeeping. I was also impressed with the variety of amenities offered, such as shops and commercial services, laundry facilities, and shuttle service. The welcome drink upon arrival was a nice touch, and the tours and ticket assistance made it easy for me to explore the surrounding area. The room itself was well-equipped with everything I needed, including ironing facilities, air conditioning, and tea and coffee making facilities. The mini-bar and sitting area added an extra touch of luxury to my stay. I also enjoyed spending time on the terrace, which provided a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The soundproofed rooms ensured a restful night's sleep, and the garden furniture outside allowed me to relax and unwind.

This hotel in a small village south of a city along the Douro River is convenient to explore the beautiful area and close to a fairly new marina with a tourist information office nearby. Guests enjoy well-appointed mini-suites with comfortable beds and good quality breakfast. the hotel is also located just a short walk from a very good local restaurant with massive portions.

Some guests complain about the noise coming from the mini bar or fridge and the limited menu choices and bad quality at the hotel restaurant.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely mind-blowing! From the moment I arrived, the staff were super friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile to answer any questions I had. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and always kept spotlessly clean. The highlight of my stay was definitely the spa experience - it was like stepping into a whole new world of relaxation with the jacuzzi, back massage, and full body massage. The hotel also offers a wide range of amenities, including a fitness center, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and a Turkish bath. I loved how convenient it was to have on-site car park and Wi-Fi, making my stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast spread was jaw-dropping, with a variety of options to cater to all foodies, from pastries to eggs and cereal. The location of the hotel by the river was tranquil and picturesque, perfect for a peaceful getaway. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for a truly unforgettable experience.

The room at Douro Marina Hotel & Spa was absolutely amazing! I felt like I was in a luxurious spa retreat. The Turkish bath with natural eucalyptus vapors was so relaxing, and the suites with jacuzzi were an absolute treat. The room had everything I needed, from air conditioning to an LCD TV, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. As a trekkers and group of friends, this room was perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring.

One thing that I personally didn't enjoy as much was the mini bar in the room. But hey, that's just my opinion, and I'm sure some people would still find it convenient and enjoyable.

I love how the hotel offers so many amenities like a heated pool and a spa. Plus, the romantic dinner with live music was a nice touch.
